So many flavors to choose from! The taffy here is always fresh and soft, unlike packaged taffy you might find elsewhere. You'll find flavors like root beer float, blueberry lemonade, key lime pie, birthday cake, huckleberry, orange creamsicle, and dozens more! It's a great place to take your out-of-town guests when you take them to the coast. It's not cheap, so be careful as you fill your bag- I put only 2-3 pieces per desired flavor and ended up paying $15! Worth it, though. Very addictive. The cashier was friendly and the store was clean and tidy. Great ambiance.
Came here third stop and yet again this place is a must for your sweet tooth .So so much candy and deliciousness..Did I say there was chocolate too salt water taffy.. You're going to need a good dentist,but for now enjoy you sweet tooth with so much candy .The service is spectacular. And the Ambiance is like will Wonka's factory..
I have purchased twice from this nice maker of really good taffies. My first experience went smoothly and deliciously all around. I had a problem with my second order that was really the fault of the mail service and had nothing to do with the Taffy shop. Nonetheless, Michael reimbursed me for every penny of my order. This is the kind of customer service that makes me a loyal customer. Not only was I reimbursed, but Michael sent me a personal email to explaining the problem. It doesn't get better than this!

Every time I see a taffy store, I always have to stop in because salt water taffy is pretty much my favorite candy. This store has so many flavors available. It was hard to pick which ones to try, so I ended up with a big bag of taffy with a few pieces of all the flavors to try. I am not sure of how everything is priced, however a pretty good sized bag of taffy was around $20. Everything was clean and well organized. There was not many people in the shop when I was there, so it was easy to social distance. A must stop when in Half Moon Bay.
We visited in August and most everything was closed due to the pandemic. This place has a great variety of interesting flavors and the lady who checked us out was nice. My only regret is not getting a bigger bag. This turned out to be a perfect road trip companion.
Salt water taffy here it is! Pretty wider variety of taffy. But I've been to other taffy places that had a larger selection. Cool thing about this place is they let you try the flavors before buying. So you know which flavors you would want to buy. Don't get anything else beside taffy. Price is not worth it. Airheads are $1 each! Wow!
Located in a tiny shopping center connected to the Oceano Hotel. My little family and I have been coming here for years! We live about 40 mins away from Half Moon Bay so everytime we're able to drive out here my significant other knows -- we HAVE TO STOP BY THE TAFFY SHOPPE! I associate HMB to the taffy shoppe (and vice versa). They have flavors from salted caramel, red velvet, blueberry muffin, root beer and today -- I saw "Chicken and Waffles". YES, chicken and waffles. Not only is that one of my favorite brunch plates but now it's in taffy form! One word -- awesome.
